The Study Centre at Carrow Road opened in 1999 and has offered exciting and inspirational learning opportunities to students of all ages ever since.

The centre’s huge success has been the catalyst for all Playing for Success expansion in Norfolk and is regarded regionally and nationally as a study support venue of quality and innovative practice.

In 2005 a relocation from an overcrowded and rather cramped venue to a purpose built facility has added to the programme now offered to schools and others within the community.

Looking to the future the NCFC Study Support team strive to continue supporting social mobility, providing high quality projects and activities to learners of all ages. At the heart of our work is the ambition to raise aspirations, boost achievement and foster a positive attitude to learning, so that our learners can make the most of their abilities and interests, regardless of the background into which they were born or their previous experiences. With this in mind and enhanced facilities at the centre, schools and learners can now choose to engage with a wide range of educational programmes.

The teaching team of the centre have a wealth of experience of delivering quality learning sessions both in and out of school and work with a wide range of primary, high and special schools.

The centre demonstrated good practise receiving quality awards from QiSS (Quality in Study Support) Advanced Status accreditation and Learning outside the Classroom Quality Badge, which recognises the benefits of increased opportunities for high quality and varied educational experiences within the NCFC learning centre.

As a key part of the community provision at NCFC the centre continues to link and work with a huge range of partners and contributes to the standing the club has maintained in Norfolk.
